Thank you! If your inquiry was in search of an available Birth &/or Postpartum Doula, please note that you should receive at least *TWO* responses:
* Initial Email: Within 48 hours, you should receive an email acknowledgment of your inquiry from one of our members. If you don’t receive this email within 48 hours, please email Doula@KirstenDudley.com.
* Subsequent Responses from Available Doulas: Within 1 week of then initial email, you should receive responses from other SFDG Doulas who may be availabile to offer the services you seek in your area.
If you don’t receive any availability responses within this time frame, you:
—> may find it helpful to check your spam/junk folder, as response(s) may have landed there;
—> can email Doula@KirstenDudley.com (perhaps with a CC to SFDoulaGroup@gmail.com) letting us know that no other doulas have contacted you yet; &/or
—> may try directly contacting members in whom you are interested.
A lack of response from Doulas regarding their availability may mean that there might be available doulas who just happen to be backlogged with emails (due to births, vacation, etc.) OR that none of them are currently available for the services you seek in your location, timeframe, etc.
If no members reach out to you with their availability within a week or two &/or you are seeking a Doula in the final weeks of pregnancy or after having already welcomed your baby, with your permission, the SFDG would also be happy to share your inquiry with Doulas outside of our membership.
